Piano instruction for all ages in East-Central Austin, Texas.
From my experience in different musical contexts, I aim to teach my students to play music mindfully and from the heart, whether it be tackling difficult classical pieces, creating their own compositions, or playing their favorite pop music.
My curriculum uses a mixture of method and theory books, compositional story-telling, solo music and improvisational materials. I can also create custom piano arrangements of any music that a student desires to play; or, ideally, can teach them to create their own arrangements.
